 Diane Flaherty Consultant
Diane Flaherty is a managing director with the Charter Oak Consulting Group. She has twenty years’ experience as an organization development consultant and focuses her practice on large system change, organizational alignment and executive development. Diane has extensive experience coaching CEO’s and other senior leaders, building senior leadership teams and planning large scale organizational change.
Sample projects include: a multi-year, culture change initiative in a major oil company; a strategic planning and continuous improvement project in a financial services company; a system-wide structural and operational change in a commercial sales organization; strategic planning and re-alignment of work processes to business strategy in an R&D department of a large consumer products company; and a collaborative organization re-design in a global manufacturing corporation.
Selected clients include: BP Amoco, Carrier Corporation, AT&T, Bell South, AT Kearney, IBM, McKinsey & Company, Shell Chemical, Lucent Technologies, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Colgate-Palmolive and Englehard Corporation.
Diane is a trained mediator in conflict resolution and a certified trainer in "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" course. She has designed and taught numerous courses on leadership, managing change and conflict management in a variety of organizations.
Diane has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Doctorate in Organization Development from the University of Massachusetts where she taught organizational behavior and management courses in the graduate program for five years. Her personal interests include golf, kayaking and travel to new and different places.
